The research themes addressed in the curriculum are:

• Chemical processes with reduced environmental impact
• Plants and bioprocesses
• Reliability and safety of process plant engineering
• Materials engineering
• Sustainability of products

The curriculum pursues its educational goals through a Committee whose members have specific scientific and technical expertise on the research themes of the Curriculum and are able to introduce the Ph.D. students to a scientifically stimulating environment.
